Michael Intrieri | Founder and CEO

Michael G. Intrieri founded SunDrum Solar in 2008. His passion for solar energy solutions began in the 70's working with his father to capture solar thermal energy. Michael has a range of experience with both thermal and electrical solar systems. Taking up the challenge to develop a solution to maximize total solar energy capture he developed the Intellectual Property for SunDrum Solar's Hybrid technology. His previous positions include engineering director at Marvell Technology Group Ltd., where Michael was responsible for product development for a $500 million product line. He held various senior management positions at Intel Corp and Digital Equipment Corp where during his tenure introduced numerous products to market. Michael obtained his Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from the University of Central Florida in 1982.

George E. Jalbert | Controls and Automation Manager

George brings a lifetime of passion for the advancement and adoption of alternate energy and conservation to Sundrum Solar. His story started at the elementary school level with a curiosity and research into photovoltaics and then electric powered transportation. George applied a growing knowledge in his own life by super insulating the family home and utilizing a ground source heat pump for home heating, cooling and domestic hot water. His family has advanced further to include a hybrid and two all electric vehicles for transportation. George has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science degree from Boston University. His career includes 32 years of semiconductor data acquisition and analysis, as well as knowledge and experience from employment at Intel and Digital Semiconductor. George believes his function as Controls and Automation Manager at Sundrum Solar provides one of the greatest personal opportunities to combine his passions, personal practices, forever growing knowledge and career experience to help make this a better world for our children.

Erik F. Jordan | Applications Engineering Manager

Erik has had a love for the natural world since his childhood. After advancing to the rank of Eagle Scout, he took this love for the outdoors with him to college to earn a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science, and a Master of Engineering in Solar Energy Engineering, both from the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. Erik again brings this love for the outdoors to SunDrum Solar, where he is committed to protecting the natural environment through the implementation of renewable energy. He believes that solar thermal is a largely untapped resource with enormous potential for replacing fossil fuels. As Applications Engineering Manager, Erik works to ensure that every system is installed accurately so that the maximum energy savings can be gained from the system. Erik continues to stay committed to ecology conservation, and spends his free time hiking, backpacking, mountain biking, and playing music.
